Team Sailing is drawing up a series of cruises in 2007. They will operate from Haslar Marina in Portsmouth harbour, and are designed to offer a real mix of inshore, coastal and offshore sailing. So there’ll be plenty of opportunity to hone those pilotage and navigational skills, and to skipper the vessel. Alternatively, if you want simply to sit back and relax then your skipper will be on hand to sail the yacht – if that’s your preference! But our experience is that you’ll want the excitement of sailing the boat yourselves. And our skippers, who are all trained in teamworking, are well equipped to facilitate this. The boats used will be new Bavarias. These are ideal offshore fast cruising yachts, and are fully equipped (with cruising chutes) and licensed to Dept of Transport standards.
